Physical fitness and movement are an important part of her life. At a younger age, gymnastics, dancing and swimming made her happy. She now enjoys resistance training, Tai Chi, Yoga, kayaking, hiking, and biking. Lisa loves the coast and outdoor living! Twenty-five years ago, she opened her own Therapeutic Massage practice healing and helping those with acute or chronic issues. About 10 years into her practice she suffered an acute shoulder injury. Incredible pain and the inability to raise her arm, past waist high, was life changing. Lisa was apprehensive to have surgery and believed she could heal through holistic means. She learned that using nutrition, corrective exercise, Tai Chi, Yoga, and Therapeutic Massage had amazing benefits. No surgery or injections were needed! Lisa also used personal trainers and nutritionists to accelerate her progress. Before long, her shoulder healed to 100% function and strength. These experiences lead her to acquire her Personal Trainer Certification thru the American College of Sports Medicine. Lisa excels in corrective exercise, and is certified in TRX, Silver Sneakers, Synergy 360, Kinesiology Level 1, for starters. Extensive knowledge and the value of nutrition is a key to her success as well.

“I love to learn” Lisa says, “I call myself a Body Mechanic.” Her hunger for continuing education puts many ‘tools’ in her belt. “My clients know it’s all about them and they will see a difference within 2 weeks! Many of us want to be, what I call, S.T.S.Y. (Smaller Tighter Stronger Younger).” Resistance training can correct and or eliminate MANY conditions and issues such as Diabetes, cardio-Pulmonary conditions, pre-habilitation, and rehabilitation. Lisa has taught small group classes, aerobic, and HIIT (High-intensity Interval Training) classes. Balance, stability, flexibility and strength training are important for quality of life. Lisa’s enthusiasm and positive attitude makes for a great and enjoyable session! She will create an efficient and effective fitness program to meet the clients’ specific needs and goals. She believes many clients are unaware of their own potential. “You will never regret doing the next better thing! One step at a time will get you success!”
