Lacey Jahn


Lacey’s interest in fitness and nutrition began as an athlete herself. Throughout her compulsory education, she was surrounded by sports performance, strength and conditioning, and athletic training. This drove Lacey to pursue exercise science and human performance further. While earning a Bachelor’s of Science degree at Purdue University, Lacey was the Lead Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor at Purdue University’s recreation center. Not only did Lacey have a passion for helping others live a healthy lifestyle, she realized her love for providing education and mentorship for the other personal trainers and group fitness instructors. In order to continue her education and to grow as an expert in her field, Lacey went on to earn a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science. At the University of Nebraska, Lacey was responsible for coordinating group fitness academic courses and developing and managing the instructors. She also continued personal training and taught exercise science related courses for the university. After graduating with her masters, Lacey moved across the country to California to work as the Director of Human Performance for the United Stated Marine Corps. Here she lead her team to provide strength and conditioning, athletic training, and nutrition to hundreds of Marines upon the installation. Now, Lacey is the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the School of Infantry for the United Stated Marine Corps on the east coast and loves every minute of it.

Lacey’s education has always been rooted in conducting research and relying on peer-reviewed literature to find best practices in the field. This carries over to how she leads her group fitness classes, and more specifically, to the intentional and methodical planning she provides to her personal training clients. Lacey is also a firm believer in educating her clients along the way; “You will never have to wonder why we are doing something”. In order to build trust, she encourages her clients to have a critical thought process, ask questions, and learn along the way. “I am here, not only to help you reach your goals, but also to provide you with the proper tools and knowledge lead a healthy lifestyle beyond our training sessions” Lacey explains.
