Karissa grew up as an athlete and spent most of her early adult years incorporating strength training into her daily activities which quickly became her lifestyle. She’s always seen the importance of strength training in athletes, young adults and found that a healthy lifestyle is the best medicine for graceful aging. Karissa was an NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Champion, All-American, AAC champion and Defensive player of the year. She continues to love training athletes and non-athletes of any age. Karissa focuses on HIIT, includes functional fitness, endurance/cardio and strength training for her workouts. Karissa has been personal training and small group training for 9 years and finds her healthy lifestyle and strength helps her balance being a mom of 3, her love to surf and her love for running with her dog.
