Special Events
At Coastal Fitness Center, we love bringing our community together through special events that go beyond fitness! Our Annual Fall Festival is a vibrant celebration filled with food trucks, local vendors, a beer garden, bounce houses, face painting, and an exciting Zumba glow party. As the year winds down, we host our elegant Christmas Gala, a night of festive cheer, delicious food, and joyful music, creating a perfect atmosphere to celebrate the holiday season with friends and family. These events are designed to strengthen our community bonds, create lasting memories, and add a dash of fun to your fitness journey!
Student of the Month
Gia Purcell
A senior at Topsail High School, Gia has excelled in lacrosse and academic programs. As a defender for the Ultimate Carolina 2025 Blue team, she also starts varsity for Topsail High School. Gia is a dedicated student with a GPA of 4.25.She began playing lacrosse at the age of 13, switching from basketball, which has given her a unique ability to see the field and cause turnovers. She prides herself on her ability to get ground balls, clear the ball up the field, and make crucial defensive plays. Her commitment to strength and conditioning has helped her excel in speed, agility, and overall fitness.In the winter, Gia competes in track for THS. Her love for lacrosse is very important to her, and she is working towards the opportunity to play in college. Her future team can expect her to be uplifting, social, self-aware, and very coachable.
