I am a graduate of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia with a Master’s degree in Recreation and Tourism Management and Sports Management. I’ve been working in the recreation industry since I was 15 years old, when I started as a front desk attendant for a swimming pool. Since then I’ve held jobs all over the recreation and fitness spectrum from outdoor recreation, personal training, fitness facility management, athletic management and aquatics management.
With a recent move to North Carolina from Texas, I decided to get back into personal training and became recertified as a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). With all the different jobs titles I’ve held throughout the years, personal trainer is the one that allows me to most opportunity to work one on one with people and really feel like I’m making a difference in their lives. I love seeing the transformations in people as they work towards making their goals a reality!
My training style consists of circuit strength interval training, TRX training and high-intensity interval training (HIIT).
